BB10 (Aristo) vs Samsung Galaxy SIII

Aristo BB10 Specs Vs S III

Following up my post on the *Dev Alpha B vs iPhone 5*, us at Berry Thai decided to have some fun with another show down, this time between the Aristo (all we have on this device is a leaked product feature overview) and Samsung’s famed S III. I know its not a lot to go on, we’re just having some fun.

Here’s a spec sheet I compiled so compare the two devices.

Aristo Vs S3

Dimensionwise, the Aristo is a wee bit smaller than the S III, but with the larger screen of the S III, you’ve definitely got more bezel on the BB10 device. I find the S III relatively light, sadly no comparison with the Aristo, which with true BlackBerry heritage, would have the weight and feel of a premium device.

The radios on both devices come in as standard, to have one device you can trot round the globe with and still not lose your bars.

2GB RAM, wooooot wooot! I must be dreaming…… Thats some pretty impressive! Hence the 2800mAh battery to keep the device sane! The current 1GB RAM has done the job for quite some time, but its the big boy’s time to come and play! If only we had an actual device to play with!!

On the Software side of things, the S III is still rocking Android, never been a fun of the OS, but the level of customisation makes it pretty nifty for those individuality types. Not BlackBerry People! We want to get things does, its in our DNA and BlackBerry 10 is going to deliver, RIM’s last shot at saving itself! Won’t dwell much on that right now, you’ll soon see a post on BB10 and all its glory!!

The Aristo will be rocking the BB10 browser which currently stands at the top spot with a high score of 484 while for the S III, won’t bother! You can check it out yourself here. If you’ve still got your Android device with you, put it away! (I joke, we all have tests and preferences).

As a closing remark, the Aristo is the perfect device every BlackBerry fanboy (and girl) is dying for and am hoping RIM pumps this device out Waterloo as soon as possible. The S III has held its own, with 18 million sales between July and September 2012. Hope RIM is picking up a thing or 18 million!
